Vibe Coding: A faster way from idea to prototype

At Scalepoint, we work every day to make insurance processes more efficient and user-friendly – for both insurers and their customers. One of the methods we’ve embraced in this journey is Vibe Coding.

What Is Vibe Coding?

Vibe Coding is an AI-powered approach where ideas are described in natural language, and the AI instantly turns them into code. Instead of writing line after line manually, we simply express our requirements in words – and get a working prototype within minutes.

This means we can:

  • Test ideas faster,

  • Validate solutions earlier in the process,

  • And make better decisions based on real user experiences.

Our Experience at Scalepoint

We’ve run several experiments with Vibe Coding. One example is a prototype designed to make it easier for customers to submit invoices related to a claim.

With AI, we built a clickable demo in less than an hour – a process that would normally take a full workday. The demo could immediately be tested with customers, giving us valuable insights before starting actual development.

As our UX Designer, Ester, put it:

“Why would I ever build manually again just to do a quick validation? This is both disturbingly addictive and incredibly effective.”

Why Does It Matter for Customers?

Vibe Coding isn’t a replacement for full-scale development – but a supplement that reduces preparation time and helps us choose the right solution.

For customers, it means:

  • Faster transition from idea to solution,

  • Solutions that better match real needs,

  • And a more efficient process where feedback is gathered early.

The Future of AI in Insurance

We see Vibe Coding as an important piece in our ongoing work with automation and AI in insurance. When ideas can be validated quickly, we can build better solutions – ensuring insurers and their customers get digital processes that are both efficient and user-friendly.

We look forward to sharing more insights on how AI and new ways of working can support the future of insurance.
