Did you start at this position with Scalepoint or has your position changed over time?

I started as Product Manager and have had different positions during my 12 years, but always within Product Management

What does a typical day look like for you?

I typically analyze requests from customers. I also have Teams meetings everyday where I coordinate with development teams, our customers and internally to ensure progress of projects and development tasks.

What is the best part of your job?

Being able to be the bridge between users and product management.

What makes you proud to work for Scalepoint?

I love the fact that our products are simple to use, even though they are quite complex. The moment that makes me most proud is when a customer says: ‘This is really intuitive and simple’.
As for our Scalepoint culture what we call ‘Scalepoint Spirit’ – I’m proud that we managed to maintain that spirit even though the company has grown a lot since I started in 2011. I still have this family feeling, where we strive to help and support each other on any task and at the same time have a lot of fun!

What is the biggest challenge?

Keeping the culture while growing the business.

– How do you handle it?

When we get new colleagues and in the daily work – I try to ‘live’ the culture.

What challenges do you solve for customers/colleagues?

I help our customers help their customers to get their claim settled as quickly and smoothly as possible. Internally, I help colleagues learn how our solutions work and receive their feedback for implementations.

What is the best thing about working with software for the insurance industry?

I think our solutions bring a lot of value to the customers and we cover the whole process of claim handling. We automate processes, so that our customers can spend their time creating more value for their customers instead.

Do you have a funny anecdote from your job?

I remember one company event where a colleague decided to dance on a table to the tunes of a famous Danish pop song. In that moment I thought: “How lucky I am working for a company where it’s ok to show such a fun and personal side as well.”

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I love spending time in nature. I sail during the spring and summer months and do daily walks in the forest and by the sea, both of which I live close to.

“Personal” is the value I like best as that is how I see the Scalepoint culture, both internally and externally. We are personal and care a great deal about each other and our customers.
